Users have the option to utilize a standalone version, enabling management of all data directly on their iPad or iPhone without requiring internet access. Alternatively, the application can connect to a PoolPass cloud account from various devices.

For organizations such as membership-based swimming pools, gyms, and clubs, PoolPass offers a robust system for member tracking, check-in processes, and facility usage monitoring. The application streamlines operations by automating traditional methods such as paper passes and manual member lookups, enhancing efficiency. Users can swiftly check in members by scanning barcodes or QR codes with their device's camera or a wireless Bluetooth barcode scanner. Additionally, it accommodates alternative check-in processes by allowing staff to search for members by name, even in the absence of membership cards. The system also helps in tracking guest usage effectively.

PoolPass includes features for managing memberships with precision. Administrators can suspend memberships for individuals not in good standing, establish expiration dates, limit entry numbers by member, and communicate with members through email.
